Stephanie Corey
Stephanie Corey is the Co-founder and CEO of UpLevel Ops and a pioneer of the Legal Operations profession. With an award-winning career spanning more than two decades, she has helped define how modern legal departments operate, leading transformational initiatives that have reshaped the relationship between legal, business, and technology.
Stephanie co-founded both the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) and the Legal Innovators Network (LINK), which is now part of The L Suite. Through these organizations, as well as her ongoing thought leadership, speaking engagements, and publications, she has helped shape conversations around the evolving role of Legal Operations as a strategic driver of business performance, innovation, and organizational change. She has convened legal leaders from around the world to explore topics including legal transformation, AI adoption, operational excellence, and the future of the modern legal department.
She has been recognized by Corporate Counsel Business Journal’s (CCBJ) 50 Women to Watch list, named to Lawdragon’s Global 100 Leaders in Legal & Consulting, and is a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management (COLPM). Before founding UpLevel Ops, Stephanie served as Chief of Staff and Senior Director of Legal Operations at major companies, including Flex, VMware, and Hewlett-Packard, where she led large-scale operations and implemented transformative processes. Her expertise spans legal technology, operational strategy, financial management, and process optimization, making her a sought-after advisor for organizations looking to enhance their legal functions.
Stephanie holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a BA in Economics from Wilkes University. Based in Redwood City, California, she remains committed to helping legal departments across industries align their operations with business objectives, leveraging strategic solutions and emerging technologies.
