Alison English brings more than 20 years of legal industry experience to her work with clients at UpLevel Ops. A business-savvy, results-oriented legal operations leader, Alison operates at the intersection of law, process, technology, and strategy, helping in-house legal departments build scalable, high-performing operations that deliver measurable value.
Before joining UpLevel Ops, Alison served as Head of Legal Operations at White Cap Supply Holdings and Rheem Manufacturing Company, where she led operational and financial initiatives designed to improve efficiency, strengthen service delivery, and align Legal more closely with broader business objectives. Earlier in her career, she held positions at prominent law firms, giving her a strong foundation in both legal service delivery and client management.
Alison’s expertise spans legal finance, eBilling, outside counsel management, alternative legal service provider (ALSP) programs, and legal technology enablement. She has managed multi-million-dollar legal budgets, led outside counsel and ALSP performance programs, and partnered closely with General Counsel and CFOs to optimize resource allocation and shift repeatable work to right-sized delivery models without adding permanent headcount.
Known for her practical, execution-focused approach, Alison brings structure and transparency to complex environments while continuously improving legal operations as business needs evolve. Her blend of law firm rigor and in-house pragmatism allows her to meet stakeholders where they are and build solutions that are both scalable and sustainable.
