As a proud alumna of Medill at Northwestern University with a BS in Journalism, Heather’s roots in storytelling have been the backbone of her career. Her career evolved into the digital frontier, where she quickly discovered her zeal for digital branding and social media, ultimately spearheading dynamic campaigns for an eclectic mix of clients, including SuperValu, Harley Davidson, and SC Johnson, while navigating the agency world at Critical Mass and R/GA. She transitioned through a freelance career in copywriting, editing, and brand strategy until she found her Legal Operations industry calling at UpLevel Ops.
A fervent Cubs supporter, she finds solace and inspiration in the unpredictable game of baseball—a reminder that the unexpected can often lead to the most memorable victories in both marketing and life. She enjoys traveling and exploring restaurants with her husband and two sons but is happiest when they’re at home on the north side of Chicago.
